 Farms at Work, with funding support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, is researching the feasibility of creating supports for new farm entrepreneurs in accessing farm-based programs and education in east central Ontario.

Local Food Business Networking Event!

This "business-to-business" local food networking event is for local producers, processors, restaurants, caterers, retail stores, and institutions looking to make business connections.

  • farmers - showcase your product to 20-30 buyers from eastern GTA & Durham region. You will be matched up with buyers for targeted “speed-meetings”.

  • buyers - meet farmers in east central Ontario that are selling what what you need in targeted mini-meetings

  • learn about 20 new & emerging crops

  • enjoy a 3 course lunch at Bistro'67

This event is a partnership between the Rhizome Institute and Farms at Work, with funding support from the Greenbelt Foundation.

It is one of a series of three Trade Fare events offered by the Rhizome Institute in different regions. The final event will be held in Toronto during the Restaurant Canada Show.
